Hummus in under 5 minutes

Hummus Recipe (under 5 Minutes)

 

1 can of chickpeas drained and reserve the liquid

¼ cup of Tahini

1/8 cup olive oil

1 lemon juiced

1 clove of garlic, more if you like

½ teaspoon of cumin

1/8 teaspoon of kosher salt

 

Garnish

Paprika, light dusting (I used smoked paprika)

Extra Virgin olive oil, just a drizzle

Freshly chopped parsley (optional)

 

Directions

 

Put everything in the blender except the chickpea liquid

Blend for a minute and scrape the sides of the blender

Blend again for a minute.

Then add the chick pea liquid a little at the time, until you get the smoothness you want.

This will have a smoother consistency than the store bought Hummus.

Enjoy with pita or your homemade taco chips
